GPSnV1 is on a distinguished road
ProClip, iPhone4S, Escort LIVE

So I've used V1 for years but since Savvy seems like a bust and I don't know when ESP is coming, I am anxious to give a full test of Escort LIVE. In one week, I start a trip that will cover over 3K miles.

I have tried to merge the ProClip device holder with the ProClip angled mount and something is missing. According to the instructions I should have a bracket with presets. Unfortunately I bought the pieces separately and didn't look at the stuff until today.

So is it likely that I am missing an important piece or does one actually drill holes into the angled mount in order to mount the device holder?
