Got hit while parked, missing a part. Can you Identify?

The car was parked and someone conveniently backed into the car and didn't leave a note. So the part is missing and was probably picked up by street cleaners because it wasn't there when I went back to the parking spot.

Can you help me identify this part?




Any ideas where to get it from and if it comes painted? Thanks!!

I don't know what the part is, but if you look at realoem.com, you should be able to find it with a bit of reasearch. Check under "vehicle trim"

^Correct. Since that is your driver side (left side if you are sitting in the cockpit) you will need the "open grid" which can be found HERE.

you will need number 5 in that diagram as well if they don't come as one, which it looks like they do not.

The idiot probably freaked out thinking he just wrecked your BMW and ran away, or did not even notice it. Damn I hate those who can't properly park or pull out without nudging the cars in front and behind. Luckily it looks like a cheap/easy fix.

Looks like he also scratched your paint there.

Also, depending on your model, you may have an auxiliary radiator behind that grille. It may pay to have the dealer check that out as well for damage.

jimmy - I did the whole package so I don't know how much the paint would cost. It was aero-kit paint, install, paint the fender flares, bumpers, etc.
