2012 X5 xDrive50i, a few questions

I finally placed an order for 2012 X5 xDrive50i – M package with style 333M 20” wheels, Black Sapphire Metallic, Black Perforated Nevada Leather (Active seat package), Brushed Aluminum Trim plus lots of nice stuff. I spent quite a long time choosing between two different looks – Sports Package with style 336 20” wheels and running boards vs. M package with style 333M 20” wheels. I just wanted to get a different look this time. I’m currently driving 4.8i with the running boards, sports package and style 214 20” wheels. I’m well aware of the problems that come with the painted flares and think that BMW went too far trying to achieve a nice appearance while sacrificing the practicality of the SUV on X5 M and X5 with M package. Even Cayenne Turbo has the plastic non-painted fender flares and rocker panels and those guys always paying attention to the details.

I just would to ask a few questions:

I noticed that some of the LCI X5s come with the blue “angel” lights. Is there such OEM option/package or its all aftermarket options?

I also noticed that some vehicles (particularly on Canadian market) have an option - Audiophile Sound Package that comes with the speakers with aluminum frames vs. plastic frames that match the color of the leather interior. I think it’s a nice “touch”, especially for my color combination. I doubt that I can get it in the US.

It appears that BMW used to use more expensive tires in the past, my 2008 X5 with the Sports Package and style 214 20” wheels came equipped with SP Sport Maxx DSST RunOnFlat tires, which I kind of liked, except the price and the range (won’t last more than 20-25K miles). These days I do see lots of vehicles with 20” wheels that come equipped with less expensive Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT.

I would greatly appreciate any comments.
