hoping to place order this weekend - need advise

I am hoping to close this weekend before Jan 3rd to take advantage of the special offers.. will be getting a 12 50i w/Msport... question is I can't seem to find a sample color combo to examine..

i want the AW w/Cinnamon...

does anyone have this combo or seen it in person? pictures always look great but i'm told this color leans more towards orange and may not look as good in person..

how about tobacco?

any pics of the AW w/Cin and AW w/Tob??

thanks for the help.. really appreciate it!

i'm siked!!

one thing i'm noticing is that the other color combos have the stock black backseat and carpeting..

tan is tan everywhere... cinnamon brown has black seat backs...

anyone noticed? any pics around?

Do they still make X5s with saddle brown interiors? That color is amazing.

tan everywhere is not appealing in my opinion. The black makes it more sporty for lack of a better description. The reason is the material is different anyway and when you color match it, it just looks like they're trying too hard to hide it - but it still looks like tan hard plastic - ugly. My kids put their feet up on that all the time and I'm thankful the material is actually a hard plastic there. Coupled with the black headliner in the sport pkg, black pillars, the black seat backs and carpet looks great. I got into an E70 that didn't have the black headliner and it felt... "old person's car".

And yes, saddle brown is the best, still very happy with it after 4 years. Haven't seen the option for at least a couple years now. My alternate choices are oyster/black seatbacks or cinnamon... always must have black headliner.

I have AW with dark brown interior. I love the combination. The brown is richer looking than black or tan and I get a lot of "Oh, I like that interior"...the dark brown is less common than black and sets my X5 apart, imo.

I almost bought the AW with the Orangeish brown, not sure which interior color is which. I have a similar saddle brown in my Toyota Tundra, which I love, but in the X5 it looked cheap imo and was too bright. I did like that it had black for the floor mats, etc.

But to each his own...I like the Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert, my wife wants razzleberry pie....

rh71, I love the light poplar wood on your X5...very nice!!! Great looking ride.

Also another interior mod I made after owning for a week is I put either 5 or darker window tint on the sun roof!!!! I love this! Darkens my interior even when the shade is open and at night, it is very difficult to see into my X5. Lots of privacy.

It was like an extra $30 from my guy who owns a tint shop.
