35d less than 35i premium???

Am I reading this right? A comparably equipped 35d (premium, 3rd row) comes out less than a 35i premium (convenience, 3rd row) after the eco credit... with leather included in the premium package for the 35d (std on premium)?

Sounds right. I have heard discounts ranging from $7,500 to over 10k on new 35d. End on 1/03/12.

Don't forget that the 35d is an update behind the 35i (6sp vs 8sp etc). Most of the rest of the world gets the 40d now; 35d is gone.

Pity you don't get the 40d. It's a noticeable jump up in performance and driveline refinement from the 35d. Eight-speed is sweet and the extra ratio spread (at both ends) welcome. It's even a little more economical.

yup 40d would be tempting, still would be a hard sell for my better half, though

Given the 40d is not an option, there's no argument then.
