is atc 700 tansfer case European version same as the US version?

I'm going to change my transfer case on my 2008 X5, I checked from bmwfans and bmw dealer's website, the atc-700 27107599889 is genuine parts number. now, I have a atc-700 27107599886, it is look like the original one exactly,but the 27107599886 is for European Market, and i also found some European Market car use atc-700 27107599889. I'm worry about if the atc-700 27107599886 can fit the American x5.
Both 27107599886 and 27107599889 are same model number, is it same ?
