Is this a BMW plan? or a 3rd party plan the dealer is selling?
You know my feelings...have you looked into buying road hazard insurance from a national tire retailer in your area? Just call up and talk to the manager- tell him what you are lookign to do. I know a few people who have done this for $120-160. just FYI. A |

If you are damaging rims, then I can see the value.
BTW, nobody down here publicizes this arrangement- you wont find it on the internet, and many people woudl say what you've said about... but they are surprised when they ask and a manager says "yeah, we can do that". From the manager's point of view it is smart- he sells a warranty that makes him a little bit- AND he knows you'll be back for warranty AND replacement tires! Anyway, I'm trying to spread the word! ![]() I asked about BMW vs third party as it gets hard to compare prices as you dont really know the underlying value- with a BMW plan, that is a known entity and you can compare what others pay....
