Smile Just coded a X5 4.8i
Coded a friend's 2009 4.8i a few days ago. What a car!! compared to my E53 3.0. Wish I can upgrade to a 4.8 .. too bad it guzzles gas like crazy. Also love them suction doors! reminds me of an S-Class, very classy!

Anyways, here are some of the codes I did..

power tailgate close via key fob/trunk button
windows roll up via key fob
DRLs and amber side lights turned off
digital speedometer (I wish I had this option on my E53)
fog lights stay on with high beam
double flash hazards.. it's pretty cool haha
turned off the seat belt warning gong but still get the seat belt warning

I guess you mean E70 4.8i. The new 35i is better than 4.8i when it comes to gas and does 0-60 in same time.
From BMW docs:

doh! yes, I meant the 4.8i haha
I'm actually pretty interested in the 35d. I have a friend with a ML320 CDI and boy can you get a lot of mileage on 1 tank

Want to help a fellow member out? I don't mind paying a few bucks Just don't see a reason to get the cable to change 3 codes
