Question Welcome Light Issue After Lux v3 Install

Just a feeler to see if anyone has had an issue like this. The welcome lighting on my vehicle works every now and then but not reliably at all. I did find the tip that I should take my headlight switch to full on then back to auto to deactivate the service setting but that did not work.

I am also NOT saying that Lux AEs caused this issue. These lights are awesome and I just wanna find out what is going on. Thanks!

Is welcome lighting when you hit the unlock and the halos light up? If so then I also have v3s and my halos do not light every time anymore either. Small price to pay for what I feel was totally worth the measly 200.

I have the Lux V3 installed on mine and the welcome light works well. No problem with mine.

Update. My battery finally started throwing errors, got it checked and shockingly it would only hold a charge up to 77% after Auto Zone tried to do a full recharge. I replaced the battery in the dealers p-lot and had it registered same day. I had this error when I purchased this vehicle back in May of 11 and got a reprogram/register covered in the "We Owe" portion of the deal. All is well now and my Lux V3s look awesome when I unlock again!

I see you own a 5 series with a 6 speed manual transmission. Are you disappointed with X5d since it does not have a 6 speed manual transmission? I currently have a 2009 535i x with a manual transmission and I am considering a 2012 X5d. I am concerned i will regret the fact that it does not have a manual transmission. Just some additional background, I did have a 2006 X3 and it had a manual transmission as well.
