100 miles and first complaint
took delivery of a 2012 x5 drive 35i premium Monday and am loving it so far. my four year old son informed me of my first complaint when he interrupted a quiet wait at a traffic signal with screams of pain from the back seat. So... a simple question:
Why on earth did BMW stop putting covers on the interior lights, leaving the hot bulbs exposed, and is there anything to do about it (other than say "don't touch that!")? |

Wow, would have to agree on that one. dumb.
You could try the LED interior lighting package, that may be low heat.

i believe this has been discussed here before. two schools of thought prevailed thru the discussion with "I'll bet he doesn't do that again" being brought forth.
