MX-3.5.4, TX-3.5.4 Software update...

Ok, what was that about???
I applied the update, all went smoothly and I dont notice any difference whatsoever (maybe there is a difference but it must be sooo insignificant that I missed it).
I feel frustrated that my iPhone 4 that is running iOS5 can only have contacts displayed when running the "office" function! This is frankly lame. Where is the ability to display calendar, emails, sms? Has anyone had better luck?

TIA

There are likely earlier threads, but I for one gave up on BMW apps after I started using Escort LIVE! I think, however, I was able to see things like the calendar and Twitter but not emails which is only for Blackberrys and the one feature that would have interested me most.

The update provides improved compatibility with iPhone when using BMW Internet and BMW live when tethering.

iPhone calendar is available via BMW connected app.

Email and sms over BT is not supported currently by iPhone so there's not much BMW can do about it until apple update their BT profile

Thanks for the info but what do you mean by BMW connected app? Is it that the calendar can be displayed if the iPhone is connected via the usb port?
