I am a little confused by the diagrams I see on the Internet, including the RealOem.com catalog. They only show driver side mirror. Is the motor assembly the same for both, passenger and driver side?

Mine did that for a while. The SA reported that the contacts get wet and can corrode leaving bad connections. He cleaned it up and it began working properly again.

Folks, I would really appreciate if someone could explain me the difference between mirror drive motor 67137187261 and 67137187262, both of which are shown here: RealOEM.com * BMW E70 X5 4.8i Outside mirror

I ended up getting a wrong non-Eaton drive as I did not know any better and the available diagrams were not helpful to tell the difference. Now I want to avoid making the mistake of re-ordering another wrong part...

I pulled the old drive motor out but it does not have any BMW P/N printed on it. The only helpful thing is the Eaton brand label on the housing.

So, I'm down to trying to figure out, which of these two P/Ns I need. Can someone help please?..
