I don't know specifically. Mine was built in May 2011.

I'd say "early" means anything prior to June 1. "Late" means anything June 1 - Dec 31...1/2 and 1/2

OR it could mean 1/3, 1/3 and 1/3 (Jan-April, May-August, September-Dec)

I don't think one would want to break it into quarters...that is too specific for "early" "mid" "late"

"Mid" could encompass the middle third of the year (May - August)...

OK- this has now been officially hijacked!

Back to the matter at hand - if anyone is interested in assuming a lease.....

UPDATE:
I have had a few offers on this and to save time, I wanted to post that at this time I am not interested in taking less than full assumption of lease and refund to me of cap cost and MSD's.

I understand if someone is looking to negotiate - and I may be willing to do that at some point - but I am going to hold out for now. The offers that I have received have been close but not quite complete.

Thanks everyone-

^^^ Suggest you look hard at how much prospective owners/lessees would need to pay for a new car leased from BMW today. I usually dont mess with leases, but it seems a buyer could come within $50 of your number pretty easily....If the cost is virtually the same, your prospective pool is:

1. People that want precisely my car, color and options, and
2. People that ONLY need 24 months and not 36 months.

Looking at leasetrader and leaseswap, you see this all the time.... you could get lucky in a few days, or you can wind up riding it for another year.

Understood, but I'd be very surprised if someone could get one within $100 of this number today. I could be wrong. I have already had 2 offers offering to pay my full MSD and transfer fee. Negotiation point is the cap cost.

Sorry guys- really didn't mean to offend anyone

When I leased my X5 last year, there was a lot of chatter on here about rates, what people paid, etc. I just assumed that it was OK to post this.

I don't know how to delete but if the moderator sees this, hopefully he will take it down so that it doesn't offend anyone further. That was not the intention in any way.

Also- I posted here as I didn't think that that Marketplace forum was the right place since it talks about items FOR your SAV. Again- if someone can take this down, please do so.

My apologies to those who noted that I posted inappropriately. I have now joined as a Premier Member and have posted in the other forum.

Didn't mean to break the rules! Corrected and should be legal. :-)
