Need your help! About to BUY 2011 X5 M Package w/22K Miles

All - NEWBIE Question

I'm about to purchase a 2011 BMW X5 M package that has manual rear shades, rear side side vents, headlight washer, climate control but I'm so confused as to why it doesn't come with driver and passenger heated seats. My assumption is the buyer selected 'cold weather package'. Am I wrong?

Car was built 04/2010. Was it an option to delete heated seats or do they don't come standard in the X5 M package with Cold Weather?

My 08 X5 4.8 has cold weather package and came with heated seats and heated steering wheel plus ski bag etc.. Your help is greatly appreciated! Will post pics after detail and wax.... and maybe the LED angel eyes upgrade

Also, should I be aware of any problems before signing the ink on the dotted line (besides paint chips)? Thanks! Trade is schedule for tomorrow morning... 04/07/2012.

Rear climate has nothing to do with heated seats. It's sort of like asking, the x5 has nav but no comfort access?

Thank you for replying.

I was so confused, I didn't explain myself properly. Updated the post

My assumption is the car has cold weather package. Bad assumption?

HAVE THE DEALER PRINT OUT THE ORDER CONFIGURATION.

You should be able to get every original order code, and use the pdfs posted all over to figure out exactly what is in the car.

Try not to fall for stupid add-ons at closing....

Yes! Thanks... Car is being sold at Carmax and they seem oblivious. I'm hoping my service manager at the dealership where I always buy can help...

Very bizarre that it has headlight washers but no front heated seats. I would have thought washers only come with cold weather pack.

Oh. They can be kind of funny. After all, you are NOT buying from them. Going to SERVICE for this is definitely a plan. Stress that you always come there for service, we have a relationship, etc... also, they are not supposed to tell you about car history. HOWEVER, you should be prepared to negotiate with "I understand you cannot tell me about the service history that was done when the car was owned by other people. However the BUILD configuration was done when YOU owned it (BMW) and it is permissible to share."
