Just bought a 2007 Black on Black Sport some questions

I have owned an E53 X5 since 2004 which has served me well but it was time to replace it as our primary vehicle so I began looking for an E70 black on black optioned up with a sport package. I found one this last week 200 miles away in Iowa and bought it. It literally has every single option you could get on an X5 that year.

We cleaned it up over the last two days and a couple of issues have surfaced.

1. I noticed the outside fronts of both front tires looked heavily worn. When driving the vehicle I notice some movement in the steering when a bump is hit or your aggressively turning in. This doesn't feel like other X5's I have driven so I suspect there is a ball joint or thrust arm issue in the front end. I searched but didn't find any information on this being an issue.

2. My passenger side rear tailight with LED's is not working. I noticed this appears to be a known problem that has to be replaced.

The truck has a warranty on it so I am going to get it in as soon as the paperwork comes, but I was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of what could be the issues with the bump steer I am feeling in the front end of the truck, or if I should be looking at the LCI upgrade for my rear lights as long as these are shot.
