XCUSM5 is on a distinguished road
How to add "iPod and USB Adapter" to non-equipped 10/2010+ X5?

I didn't choose the option. Neither did one of my buddies who has a 11/2010 production 2011 X5.

So how the hell do we get the iPod & USB Adapter installed into the car?`

I know, KNOW. Should have ordered it with the car. I honestly did not think about it enough when I looked at the options list, I was more worried about the other options. I meant to add it but somehow I just forgot about it when I finally went to make the final order and signature.

This is what I saw in Realoem.com:
RealOEM.com * BMW E70N X5 35dX iPod connection retrofit kit

Anyone have experience with this Retrofit?
