X5 Sport Package 20inch Tires Replacements
The original Dunlop 20 inch tires on my 2012 X5 lasted about 11.5k miles so it needs to be replaced. I would like to get a little more mileage from my next set of tires and less road noise.
I have been reading the forums and the reviews of different tires, it seems that these are the most popular as repalcements for the expensive Dunlops. The Continentals being non runflats and the Bridgestones with runflats. 1. Continental ExtremeContact DWS 2. Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT I have the tire warranty from BMW, but the service advisor measured the remaining tread and said it did not qualify under the warranty program. I also read that to keep the warranty the RFT set up is required for repalcements, not sure how true this is. 1. Should I keep the RFT tire set up or choose the Continentals since those tires seem to be pretty highly rated in terms of road noise and harshness of ride quality. 2. Has anyone replaced their original factory tires with the Bridgestones, and what are the pros/cons of these specific tires? 3. Any other runflat tires that are recommended. Thanks for the replies in advance. |
