Rear View Mirror
I have an 06 325i rear view mirror with the compass and auto dimming feature. I tried installing it on my 07 E70 which has the alarm option only and the dimmer and compass does not work. The 325i harness had more wires in it while the only used 2. Any suggestions on how I could get this to work is higly appreciated.

You need to get power to the mirror. Home link and Compass are all self contained in the mirror, they only need power.
