New Bayern Rims...pic

After 6 months of dealing with a defective M6-style rim and horrible vendor who didn't want to honor his "lifetime warranty" against defects ( I had a pin-hole leak in the barrel 2 months after using the rims..I have video I can post), I chose to go with Discount Tire and a Bayern rim 20" staggered for my Summer set-up.
Lifetime warranty.
I chose not to buy OEM knock-offs from ebay vendors (China mass produced and burnt once) and getting some from a reputable vendor, like the TSW RM-7's but apparently they wouldn't fit the staggered set-up.

Luckily they found these Bayern's at a reasonable price and LIFETIME warranty against mechanical defects, these look better than I thought. I know that matte black rims have to be done right, luckily the X-5 seems to wear almost anything and look awesome.
Sorry if the pic is bad, it's from my iphone and I had to re-size it to fit the website.
Cheers.

Where do you think THESE are made?!??!

IMO it will be exceedingly hard to press claims as wheels age...wear and tear can be blamed for any failure. So a lifetime warranty nice to have, but hard to use. Just saying

PS System would not let me post this...had to create a junk post and re-edit...

My experience with the vendor UAP was a poor one, probably the worst I've ever seen with a Vendor.
Within 60 days after purchase I found One rim of the four purchased had a defect in the barrel (air seeped through hole defects in the barrel).

UAP vendor said he would send a replacement, but did nothing, then stopped replying to my emails and phone calls.
I'm still in a dispute via the Credit Card for final refund. (I sent the rims back as they were useless with one bad rim)
THen UAP threatened to send me to Collections.
I hate people who are dishonest.

When I referred to a "Lifetime Warranty" I was really referring to any kind of Warranty for manufacturer defects. Most of the Ebay vendors sell "as is", but that is why I chose UAP, because they said and their website states "Lifetime Warranty".

Anyways, the Beyern Bavaria style rims are here (with specs/weights):
BMW Wheels by Beyern - Bavaria Design - BMW 7 Series Wheels, BMW 6 Series Wheels, BMW 5 Series and BMW 3 Series Wheels - BMW Custom Aftermarket Wheels from Beyern Wheels
Looks like they just came out in 2012.

Rotary forged wheels, and they don't say where they were made, but I know Discount Tires are across the U.S. and in Ohio (where I'm moving) and they seem to have good Customer Service, especially on manufacturer defects, they said TSW (parent company) has been excellent.

Paid $275 a rim and went with 20 X 10.5's , 26 lbs. (See weblink)

I like these rims the more and more I see them everyday.

(I've never been one for anything other than pewter or polished aluminum but these are changing my mind)

If I could do it all over again, i would have listened to the wife and gotten All-Season tires instead of Snow and extra rims. I got a little nervous not running with RFTs.
There isn't an All-Season RFT, is there ?

I hope this helps somebody. Perhaps their experience with UAP was a good one.

Also noticed in your original post you mentioned a staggered set up but just says 20x 10.5 here in this post. If you are running square setup what size tire in the front?,315 like rear?!?!

I'm kinda confused by their list of sizes/offsets/bore, unless they have more choices than listed I don't see an optimal choice of 20 in. for non-M X5.
