Just spoke with BMW of Fairfax and the glossy black kidney grills are $85 EACH! WOW! I was expecting to pay $85 for both. Any recommendations?
Thanks,

Was that price for the 135i or the X5. I paid 49.58 per grill for the gloss grills for the 135i back in Oct 2010. I paid 85.00 for the set of flat black grills from Turner Motorsport back in February. They were on sale. Unfortunately they do not sell a gloss black set.

I picked them up through this guy on ebay motors. He is a BMW wholesaler and his products are genuine BMW and ships in quality packaging, simple, and quality. Check out his link I provided, he has a number of items available. My grills are flat black with a glossy black lip and was very simple to install. All you need is a flathead screwdriver to pop a couple of the tabs gently and they come out. items in Keshav BMW store on eBay!

There only a little bit dearer here, usually we are double the price, I am surprised there $85 each in the US, thought more around $55 each?

The price was for the X5. After looking on eBay and other sites on the internet, $85 per grill seems to be a fair price. I'm going to pick them up next week.

Thanks for the information.

FYI - I have found that some vendors will reduce their price via of just sending a Paypal invoice. That keeps them from having to pay eBay fees.

Getting them off is a bit fiddly, especially when its below freezing outside and your garage is full -_- but installing them takes 2 seconds, just push inwards and hear all the clips click and your done.

Here are mine:
