2008 X5 3.0 Console Removal

Hi guys hope someone can help me. In a bonehead move I removed the bottom carpeted console panels on my X5. I also removed the leather looking side panel that tucks into the console top wood trim( driver side). I was running a 3.5 cable from the AUX to the cigaret outlet on the front of the console for a XM radio/Iphone adapter. Taking it out was no issue putting it back seems like it. I think I have to take out the wood trim in order to install the leather looking panel. Dealer wants $415 ouch! I have seen some threads with some info & picts but they are not my exact model. Anyone out there with some picts or instructions of how to do this? Also any other ideas of where to get this repaired?
