repalced it finally!!!:) TV option Rear camera...

HEy!

I am back again after a long research 10 months how to trade or replace my x5 e53 2003 30i.

Finally I sold it for 21.000 USD and bought from the same person his x5 2007 model xdrive35d M sport for 58000 USD with 59000 miles.

now!
I have some questions...

This car doesnt have the TV or rear camera.
Can I install any of these?
when I click the BMW online....it asks for sim card... where is that sim card installed?

thank you in advance!!

You paid US$58,000 for a 2007 year in 2012 that does not have tech package in it?

And yes, there are retrofits available for Rear cameras and TV, if you may. Also, it should come with a phone if its asking for a sim card.

Well he did also get $21k for a '03 3.0i. Guessing the pricing range in Europe is still up there?

OP is in Cyprus, where they have some ridiculous import duties/taxes, like in many other EU countries. I recall seeing there a lot of cars with solid body panels instead of rear side windows - apparently this qualifies them as commercial vehicles with lesser taxes, or smthg like that.

Not to turn this into politics, but a good reminder that all those European 'goodies' come at a price...

Those are the prices on the other side of the pond. We are fortunate to get into our cars for much lower prices. Try to buy a used 2009 M5 for about 40k in Europe.
