trunk trim removal
It is the side panel over the wheel arch in front of the access door/flap that covers the commbox area in the left rear of the truck. It is one of the round clips but has a different feel at the back, and doesn't lift easily with the trim removal tools. TIA Scott |

Are you referring to the carpeted piece over the rear wheel area in the luggage compartment?

that would be it I guess, a pic would help, I know. Clip has central 'plug' with retainer on back. Doesn't seem to pull out, or punch centre out.
May just end up cutting it off and replacing with a standard clip. |

Hm..I didn't have a problem when I pulled it out. You do have to remove the trim that the middle row seatbelt is bolted through to access a couple of the clips. There is a rubber handle and you have to pry that off. It will expose a torx screw and remove the seat belt bolt and pull it off.

thanks.
I used some side cutters and cut the back of the trim clip off. I will replace it with a standard 'lift and remove' trim clip. |
