Does anyone else have a passenger side wiper that rests too high?

When my wipers are off, it seems that the passenger side sits higher than the driver's side. The driver's side wiper tucks down nicely near the cowl trim, but the passenger side sits higher and at an angle. Has anyone else noticed this on their X? I want to make sure this isn't normal before I try to adjust it.

I noticed that too on my 2007 but never really did anything about it.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
The only problem I could foresee with putting it lower (which is easy enough if you know how) is that the end of the wiper blade will hit the cowling which can mess up the end of the blade prematurely. I'd consider an inch shorter blade or something if you're gonna lower it.

I have that on mine too - strange since mine is right-hand drive and I presume yours is left-hand drive?

I moved the wiper "down a notch" on the spline and it is now perfect - no banging, scraping, touching or chafing. Why it is set like this at the factory is a mystery.

Yup. Same as mine. Always noticed it, never truly bothered me though.

If you adjust it lower the wiper blade will hit the hood when it wipes down. That high setting is totally normal.
