Anyone install LED Grill Bumper Cover on LCI X5?

I was just browsing around for random stuff on eBay and ran into this. I remember seeing something like this for Pre-LCI cars

Looks like a lightbar, rather than individual LEDs. Does anyone have these?

i think there is something like that in the RealOEM... are those openings for the airchannels? and these lights close them off? or the OE bumpers don't have those air holes?

If I wanted an Audi/Lexus/Honda/Hyundai/Mercedes, I would have bought one. Do you feel the need to fit in with the "look at me" crowd so badly? You realize that that harness is so that you can unplug your fogs/cornering lights, which are completely functional and plug in something thats rather silly.

I started this thread because I thought it was interesting. I actually have no intention of buying this at all. I agree with you that it looks too much like other Makes. I love the corona AAs on my car. But the 6er has them and some other models may be getting them as well. In any case, these are still better integrated than that poor excuse for a BMW accessory that they were selling. Those suck so much. Looks like how someone would install an ebay light, cut a rectangle into a stock grill and stick an LED bar in there.

^^ I agree they look better integrated. I am not even sure which market didn't come with corona rings where you would need the Philips kit for a DRL retrofit. I wouldn't even have as much an issue with them if they came with a proper harness instead of requring you to unplug your foglights
