Rear fender / bumber

Just noticed today that the rear fender just under the lower tailgate has pushed slightly up , it catches on the lower tail when opening and closing , tried to push it down but nil result , I can see plastic clips but I don't know I they engage , what caused this and anyone know how to fix ?

Do a search. I seem to recall that there may be an issue with the mold of these bumpers causing some to 'release' and pop up over time. Your year might help too.

Thanks Ard , did the search and that is it exactly , two clips have broken and so it is rising slightly in the middle , catching in trunk gate , will hit them with the known clip problem and see how I get on , x5 07
