Need tires in Port Charlotte, FL area - recommendations please

Hey guys,

I have a 2011 X5 D with the sport package and 20 inch wheels. The original Dunlops are almost worn out so i would like to get new tirees while i am here on vacation.

Can someone recommend a good place to get tires in the Sarasota to Ft Myers area?

I am debating between the Toyo ST2 or the Continental DWS. Thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks.

Rob.

Haven't bought tires locally, except for a set on the CEO's previous pos Honda CR-V at Tire Choice, with locations all around FL. A quick look didn't show they have your size.

This joint in Ft Myers is decent too, though with any tire install I would 'ask' for the tire guy to use Teflon sliders on rims, lay off the impact wrench and hand torque to spec, and watch them. A sawbuck to the tire guy may help, too.
South Trail Tire

I have heard this chain is OK, and it looks like they have/can get 20s for you...as with any tire joint the take off/install and balancing is the whole deal, imo.

No matter where you go, try getting online prices first with shipping (tirerack or discount tire.com) and see if they'll match the price there...no reason to pay retail + for tires and with an out of state tag you're a perfect "target".
