Pre-LCI E70 front reflector DIY issue, can't get my hand in the bumper =(!
All I see out there are DIYs for LCI E70s...Only one DIY for Pre-LCI's don't have working images (Reference: KEV's Reflector Swap DIY).
I was able to get the passenger side done very easily, but I don't have the same luck with the driver side. Can any of you E70 veterans please guide me as to how I'd be able to secure the new reflector with the radiator/oil cooler in the way? I had followed KEV's instructions to get the 5 8mm screws removed and was able to get the reflector halfway pressed onto the cut out...but as I try to secure the higher portion of the reflector my hand can't reach any higher. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

I responded to your post in that other forum where you posted this question.
As far as I can remember, you just have to use a fair amount of force to get it open enough to get your hand up there. Others in that thread have said the same thing.
