X5 Production.....Quality Control for 4 days?
My X5 showed being in QC for 4 days. On one hand, you could figure that they are being thorough or may have found something minor that they wanted to clear up like a bubble in the paint before passing it on. On the other, one could figure that something was didn't come out right and it was fixed just to bring it just within standards. Anyone else see this happen to their order? Thanks. |

That status is not accurate. For all you know the car passed QC and was parked someplace waiting for loading onto a train- and the status may not update until it gets scanned upon loading. In other words, DONT read so much into how long it sits there.
I know one guy who had his car for months, yet the car's status was still somewhere in spartanburg |

Gotcha. I actually found out about the BMW 800 number after posting this and found out that the car is complete awaiting transportation.
His updates throughout production were changing daily up until QC when it didn't change for the week. Hence, my apprehension. Thanks for the insight. |
