Ah, I see what you meant. But based on the locations of the pre-drilled holes that looks to me like a factory cut out on just the underside of the bumper (which would be an updated design), but the face still needs to be cut.

Let us know how it turns out.

This is why we should listen to hitch-experienced guys like digdesign! The installation IS exactly as before.

The body shop service manager admitted they were a little confused on the pieces. But I was so intrigued by what he described, and asked for pictures, that I got caught up in hype rather than fact.

If you get a replacement for the 2009 hitch, it's gonna look the same.
