Ista+ Left Rear Level Senor

Hey guys 2008 BMW X5 4.8 when I first bought the car always had the leveling malfunction error i was told the rear left leveling sensor was the fault, I have a new sensor with bracket but once replaced will I need to calibrate the sensor or can I just plug and play the new one? Thanks already searched and found a few posts that said it must be calibrated some just said they replaced it and the fault went away.

P.s my car does not sag overnight

Dunno...but just change it and find out.

If it needs calibration, burn that bridge when you get to it.

You don't need to calibrate anything. It would do itself

Try Clearing the fault. The system will reinitialize after every startup. It the vehicle leveling off? do you hear the compressor kicking on? I just did a complete overhaul on mine after a complete failure and ended up getting so frustrated that I replaced the whole damned system. Bags, Valve block, sensors and lines finally. The compressor is/was fine.
