Retrofitting X5M front bumper onto X5 with M-Sports Pack?

A friend of mine just bought an 2012 X5 50i with the M-Sports Pack. He loves everything about the car except for the front bumper.

We were talking about this yesterday and wondering if it's possible to retrofit the X5M front bumper onto his X5 with M-Sports pack.

(I heard some modifications are required for retrofitting the X5M front onto a regular X5)

Anyone have done this before?

Probably some decent modifications..

Look at the X5M versus the X5 with the M-Sports pack, the X5M has different headlights than the X5--The bumper fitment would not work just because of that fact. You would have to replace the bumper and headlights to make it work.
