Sunvisor vinyl or fabric?

After a quick search I couldn't find an answer. Recently I took my 2007 x5 in for a light issue above the sunvisor and they replaced the sunvisors. While they still havn't actually fixed the lights (after 6 weeks and picking it up "fixed" 3 times), the visors are vinyl. I am not 100% sure but I thought they were fabric before? So the question is are the sunvisors fabric or vinyl on the x5, or at least the 2007 x5?

Color appeared to match, but I wasn't paying that much attention. I was more pissed that they said the overhead lights were fixed, which they were not for the 3rd time picking it up. Last seven of VIN is LZ43178. I didn't realize there were different options for sunvisors. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I wasn't sure though if they had switched to vinyl at some point in the e70 production cycle, like they did with the 3 series (or at least the M3 did). If switching the visors had fixed the light issues I wouldn't care one way or another, but all they did was knock out the rest of my overhead lights in the process. Either that or they are just comitting fraud to get money out of my aftermarket warranty.

I'm not sure what you are referring to. Initially the vanity light above the sunvisor would not turn on when you slid the little door to the mirror open, unles you wiggled the visor then it would flicker. They said they replaced the visors, and when we went to pick up the car, none of the overhead lights (the visor light, the dome lights) work at all. At first they said they couldn't duplicate this problem when we took it back to them (within 20 minutes of picking it up). They thought maybe it was the car battery and wanted me to buy a new one at 4-500 bucks even though the one in there now less than a year old. Went back to pick up the car and the lights still didn't work. They acknowledge this time that there was a problem. After like 7-8 days they replaced some module in the dome light area. Went to pick up on saturday and the lights still didn't work.
