When they separated the adaptive drive option from the sport package around '10-`11, not many people chose to pay an extra ~$3500 for it. Did you try looking at some 2010s and had better results? Downside to that of course is you won't have the newer idrive. Good luck with your search.

Almost impossible to find since as RH71 said. Look for 2VA BTW in the vehicle order

I come to realize that. I am now debating over a 2009 with adaptive drive with no LCI or 2011+ LCI and no adaptive drive, of course that comes with the lower mileage and warranty benefits.

I got an 2009 with 48k, adaptive drive, heads up display, LCI rear and front (2011 LED), auto high beam, 20 position seats, center rear view DVD all available extras plus conversion to LCI with 20" 345/35 rubber on OEM 214 wheels plus the aero kit.
Silver with black silver. Not really thought on selling it but we drive electric cars now and the BMW is 99% in the garage. |

Agree with above, the other issue is buyers that valued AD to pay the extra are likely educated buyers who made a considered purchase and are satisfied with the car and will keep it 4/50k... the flippers will be whim buyers, or leasers, and likely not paying for AD. (not likely to order it, and if they were lot buyers, no lots had ADs)
Not absolutes of course (there will be two people posting, saying 'I got AD and ....') but just another reason this unicorn will be a hard find. Black on black too? If you are willing to pay more than dealer trade, you might motivate someone who is on the fence to do a private deal.... GL A |
