X5 E70 CCC retrofiting help!!!

Hi,
I just retrofited my 2007 X5 with a CCC unit with GPS(I had that M-ASK before).
Everything is working(PDC,telephone, stering wheel controls),except the GPS!
I´ve used an GPS antenna bought for 30 euros,so it is not the original one, which I´ve fixed under the dashbord.
The GPS shows me my position in terms Latitude and Longitude, but when I input an address and start driving, its completly wrong, even the North is not showed right, its shows the North in South.
Some kind of comunication exsist between GPS antenna and the satellite because I can see that the clock is automaticly adjusted.
So I have 2 questions:
1.The GPS antenna must be a BMW antenna
2.If I´ll code the car ,it will resolve this issue?
Sorry for my english!
Regards from Sweden!

Here is an obvious question.

Is the GPS antenna oriented correctly in the car?

I don't think it matters, because the correct position of the car it's given by the gyroscope inside the main unit. The GPS antenna is just for getting the connection with the satellite .
Maybe I'm wrong,but I'm 80% it is like this.

blue dragon will become famous soon enough
If you aren't picking up the GPS position, either your antenna or the connection is faulty.

It's receiving the position, but I can see my right position in the same place where I have connected the antenna for first time, front of my house and gives me the right coordinate ,latitude and longitude .
About my previous post,I think I've made a mistake ,the gyroscope from the main unit must work together with the antenna to get the right position,I think!!??!!

Did you take it for a drive, take a few turns on a clear street for at least 20 minutes?

i dont know how BMW does it, but GPS systems use the sequence of your position to determine your orientation... The 'arrow' is calculated from your speed or postiion 'vector'. There is no way the system will point the correct way until it collects a few positions. The gyro is only used to 'fill in' when passing in tunnels, etc

Make sure the antenna is in 'no worse' a location than the stock location- under metal stuff is not good.

Ok I understand this, the antenna is located under dashboard ,the main question is that that antenna works with this system,as is not a orginal BMW antenna.??!

Yes, the $20 GPS on eBay works with CCC. Try placing it on the dash. I attached a picture, the cable is hidden and it's half the size of your ignition key fob. Hardly noticeable.
