X5 rear fogs sure came in handy last night
![]() ![]() And of course, equally lit corona rings, no eyeball effect - Just say no to H8 LED bulbs for corona rings, they don't look anything like OEM

Yep, just last week 4 other cars around me were all rear ended in the fog...but I was saved by my rear fogs.

How do you get them to workIs it just modifying the switch or you have to run wires too?

this is the thread to start reading
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...-complete.html starting from post 200, there is a slight modification to the original right-up by mrtm2008 - Ricky Bobby and myself used the factory wires to connect the rear fogs instead of employing a trailer module. this modification required coding of the rear fogs, but this way each light is controlled and monitored individually by the LCM and you don't need to buy the trailer module... You need to source euro switch, run a single wire from the left side of the dash to the passenger footwell, then work on the back of the car and source the bulb holders and bulbs... one of simplest DIY projects out there, with a lot of satisfaction...

This seems pretty complicated and costly with needing the euro switch |

You need the Euro switch as well as running and additional wire from the switch to the FRM on the E70.
