Advice Wanted: 2008 3.0si w/ 107,780km - 27K + tax and fees
It is in very good condition, however it is lacking some technology options. Thanks for any comments!

Seems steep to me in the States, but I don't know anything about its condition or know pricing there - I assume you have something like AutoTrader, eBay, Edmunds, KBB et al to check for similar vehicles to get a feel for pricing in your region.

It's not smoking for a 3.0.
Pricing here is so stupid, when I was shopping for my 2010 the local stuff was 37-40 and I got my 2010 35D for 25 in the US and drove it up. I found Ontario to be in the low 30's for a similar car. If it were me I would shop in a bigger area.

hmm,
I think for Calgary, this is neither a deal nor is it steep. Seems to be fair market value, which sucks because I was hoping to get a sweet "deal" All other X5's with similar KM's and same year were between 25K-28K, and the one that was 25K only (80K kms) required 2.5-3.5K in repair/maintenance work after I had it inspected. The one I am looking at is from a Mercedes dealership, so it might be inflated slightly ( I got them down 10% from their list price) due to them buying better used cars and actually servicing them, unlike the run of the mill used car lots.

That SAV in Ontario is about $22k + tax before negotiation...kind of high...but we are saturated in Xs

Autotrader.ca lists 87 2008 X5s nationally. 12 are in my region. 27k is right in line in BC. Input your postal code and look at all of them

Getting an independent inspection done Wednesday. If everything checks out, I think I am going to go for it.
