Angel eyes upgrade - what headlights do I have??

I'd like to upgrade my DRL angel eyes to whiter after-market bulbs. Question is, how do I work out what type of bulls I need? I assume I have Xenons, but how do I confirm?

If that's correct - are these OK? : BMW E92 E93 E70 E82 E87 M3 Angel Eyes eye White Led Halo Ring 20w CREE H8 Bulbs | eBay

Vehicle is '08 3.0SD (UK RHD)

Thanks

Whether you have xenons or not has nothing to do with changing the corona (angel eyes) bulbs. The bulbs at the link you provided would work - you want the H8 bulbs. There are lots of options if you want to proceed with this.

Really? So how come the seller in that ebay link I posted makes a big deal about the car needing to have Xenons? (Which mine does BTW).

blue dragon will become famous soon enough
The headlights are different. The H8 bulb thats used for the corona rings is NOT the same bulb on non xenon headlights. All North American X5s had xenons, so its a common mistake to make for us on the other side of the pond.

Sorry for passing along bad info

I didn't realize some Euro-spec X5's didn't have xenons. In that case yes makes sense it's a different bulb, though I don't know which one.
