Made banana holder into cell phone holder

First time working with polymer clay (for the base.) It's not perfect but it works exactly as I envisioned. I have not gotten around to making the green pad colour black and cleaning up the stem(modified an existing product.)

Fits in the hole thingy in the center dash, swivels, and uses a sticky pad to hold the (any) phone.

Thanks!

If there was enough interest I could cast some out of resin plastic (after finalizing some design improvements, and actually designing and manufacturing the top portion so that I am not infringing on a pending patent.)

I am torn on how high the stem should be. I think the current height works well for both function and appearance.

It would look more aesthetically pleasing if the stem were lower, but then this would reduce its swivel function, it would get in the way of the shifter and idrive wheel, and it would decrease the universality of the sticky pad.

Works surprisingly well. In fact when the pad is clean you have to pull the phone with two hands, holding the plastic handle and pulling on the phone.

Just needs to be wiped down every so often as dust collects on it.

I like your idea too and thought that there was a small need for it.
As for height question, I think you should keep it low, lower then the shifter, as to keep hands from bumping into it as you move around.
But than again, the drift car hand break look wicked.

Good luck, and if you go into production, I would like to hear about it.
