Anyone's heated steering wheel not heat the left side of the wheel?

2011 X5 SAV.

The car came with the heated steering wheel. I'd say about 75% of the wheel is heated, the top left corner (from 9-12 o'clock) don't get heated though, which is annoying as that's where my left hand sits.

Anyone else had this issue? If so, did the dealer warranty the wheel?

On my 2011 35d the entire steering wheel heats up. The hottest part seems to be around where the vertical spokes at the 9 and 3 o'clock meet the circumference. I've only been driving it for a week but I've used the feature quite a bit in that week.
