Coolant temp read out
I've read about how to view my coolant temp in real time. Problem is when I get the menu up, it goes away in about 2 secs and reverts back to normal key on position. Any thoughts?

You need to first unlock the menu.
I think it's test 19 and you add the last five digits of pin to determine the code. Once unlocked you can get to each test i think coolant temp is in 7. Get an app and obd dongle to monitor all the important stuff.  The important one with e70 is the pump RPM. When they fail it's typically intermittent. The RPM on the pump will drop to zero and the fan will go maximum. They will flip flop like that for a while until the pump stays on. In my case this went on for over a week but i was able to drive while waiting for the parts. It's not a terrible job but look for paths into access from over the steering gear not just from below. Why are you wanting to monitor temp are you having symptoms of a problem? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
