I live in Maine and I am running Style 210 wheels with dedicated winter tires. I am planning to use four new 20x10" wheels with summer tires. Square is the right choice for me. I am considering Michelin or Vredestein summer tires.

Live in Central IN, similar weather conditions to you, and have been very happy with my 20" staggered setup with the Toyos. On my second set of them now...

Just get a set of all seasons to fit your current wheels. Why spend at extra $1000 to put staggered wheels on an SUV? (Will that even work with your current fender flares, or lack thereof?)
If you MUST, have a winter set of square 19s and get 'race car look on a bloated SUV' for summer tread.

I just replaced mine with Continental Extreme Contact DWS love them. I have 19" on all fours.......kept stock size, 255/50/19. did not want to go with staggered 20" with low profile tires, I got some bad roads around here. Had run-flat mich factory tires, they lasted only 30,000.......new conti DWS is softier and handles differently

What are your alignment specs? THAT is the biggest variable in tire mileage. On one end of the BMW spec you can get 40k miles, on the other end sub-10k miles. I am in northern CA on basically chip-seal secondary roads. Get around 35k on the Michs. |

On my third set of Toyo STIIs, 40K + miles each time. Can't speak for snow. Don't drive in snow. Stay home and drink when it snows....

So I spent 2 hours turning donuts and sliding around the parking lots near Dortmund Stadium. Me and another local nut.... Which was what my colleague called me at dinner when I replied to "So what did you do this afternoon?"
