Customer Satisfaction "recall" for V8s aka SIB #11-16-14

I posted about this in a different post and I'd like to emphasize the enormous work and expenditure BMW invested in my X5. Took about 1 week to finish up and my X5 came out with a brand new battery and about 10 new parts including an oil change. I would urge E70 V8 owners to take advantage of this Service Bulletin and get it done...

BMW will replace all the common V8 parts people complained about....

It only applies to N63 motors.

Only? Most E70 X5s and a bunch of the 7 series use the N63 engine... I would say this is a very costly recall BMW engaged in and people should take advantage of it.

Odd way to put it...BMW has a defect in their motors that lead to abnormal wear and failures.

Maybe if we wait it will get up to 11 or 12 new parts?

Then this does not apply to you. This is N63 only manufactured between specific dates.
