No, what I meant is the X5 doesn't have a static brake system. Its fully capable of altering the pressure to various calipers. The rear X5M caliper (piston size) isn't significantly different from the non M either. There is a bigger rotor and pad for more swept area.

Just purchase a full set of X5M brakes & plan to fit to my X5 40D

Did you program your brakes to the car ?

You can change the the option in the module but I didn't

The new brakes work GREAT with no changes to anything.
Just install them and enjoy!
