Comfort access

Can someone confirm how to enable the mirrors to close with comfort access from key as the manual clearly states it can?

I believe that needs to be "programmed" or "coded" by the dealer or by someone with the right software and a laptop.

But that doesn't make sense if it's in the manual wouldn't it be on by default? Do you know if the kick trunk unlock is standard by chance as well?

I think it says right in the manual that some things need to be coded by the dealer. Not sure what you mean by kick trunk unlock? Not an option on E53 AFAIK

Odd I have to look thoroughly to see if it says about dealer would really stink to have to go all the way back but at have to anyway. As for the kick trunk open I saw some models have a sensor under bumper when you put your foot there it will pop the trunk but maybe not the x5 because of the two part tailgate
