Arrow Issue with pairing iPhone

Hey Guys! Long time no visit!

I have a 2017 X5 loaner and I cannot get my iPhone to pair. I've tried many times, waited for the car to go to sleep, etc, and still nothing. I've had the loaner since Saturday and will have it for a few more days.

I've never had this issue before in many many loaners, including 2017 X5's, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Attached is a screen grab of the message my phone says. The iPhone is on iOS 10.3.3.

Any suggestions?

I'd love to help, but you know I'm the challenged one.

I only got my iphone because my dinosaur with the slide out keyboard wouldn't pair with my '16 M.

Good luck!

LOL thanks, L!

Actually I JUST figured it out on my commute to work! I guess I've had this loaner before because I realized it was listed in the previously paired devices section, so I removed it, then attempted to pair it as a new device and it worked!

I continue to try and remember that no matter the device if it was listed in the previously paired devices section removed it, then attempt to pair it as a new device! Tried pairing a pair of Bose headphones and god forbid I read the instructions and it said the same thing. Who Knew......
