My tailpipes are really sooted up. Is there things I should look for? No codes. Is LTFT or STFT an indicator of what can be running rich? I have the Torque Pro App. Don't want my catalytic converters to get fouled.
Thanks in advance

I've noticed mostly my left side being that way, but that's the side operating at lower rpm's and gets the "cold start" cycle. After long highway trips, they generally even out but still show some soot. Oil level stays the same for 6000 miles so I'm not too worried. I stick with Shell gasoline all the time.

SRMMMM----thanks for the reply. I am not too concerned about oil burning but contamination of the "cats" by too much unburned fuel. Thanks for you response.
