Dip / drop in RPM 2-3 seconds after cold startup

Hi everyone,

2017 X5 x35i with 65k miles on it

Has been experiencing a dip in RPM only during the first cold startup of the morning, mostly in colder mornings only. I have a video of the behavior that I posted here:

Occasionally this startup dip in RPM has resulted in engine stalling too (very rarely, perhaps two or three times in the last year , year and a half)

It never shows this dip on subsequent start ups.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance.
