X5M Production?

My dealer is telling me production will probably start Feb/March of next year, but I'm not certain of that. I figured I would ask the experts on here if there was any truth to that or if it was going to be sooner?

I have been told Jan 2015 for the V8 X5M, but all the rage here for the last few years is now the M50d, special with the torque vectoring & anti roll suspension etc that now comes on the new F15 M50d. You also get the same introduction packages from BMW & club membership etc as comes with the M5, M4 etc.

So its now just a matter of whether you want a 3 turbo 740nm flying diesel or a twin turbo V8 petrol X5M.

Considering I just been driving the M4 Conv for the last 4 days as a loaner and its now a 6 cylinder twin turbo as you know, just shows you that you don't need a V8 for power & speed anymore.
