Early 2008 was the last I heard. I hope that means Jan-Feb

Sorry folks, not seeing the love here.

Those renderings make it look just like that squashed Infiniti thing. Take that thing (FX 45, I think), add 80-100HP to it, and sell it for the 25-30k more than Infiniti? Doesn't seem like a weiner to me.

I am hoping this is like the new 5er was some time ago - looked like it had possibilities in renderings, but looked good on the road when it came out.

I am ready for something new, and different. Paddle shifters would be nice. My back injury a year ago still causes great pain in an old-fashioned manual shift six-speed, but I like being in control of the shifting.

I miss the old X5 (haul space and ride), but like the HP in the current CTS-V.

I'd sure like something in-between (with at least the same HP I have now - 425), but it needs more eye appeal than an Infiniti.

My business partner bought his new car a month ago, and I now have the green light to get mine. Problem is, I haven't found anything appealing. My budget for this purchase would put me in an M6, but that looks way too small to manage. Maybe I need to go look at one of those.

I am addicted now to HP, so whatever it is, it has to have guts under the hood.

What's a fella to do......

Thanks for the info LM...I gotta wait to see it in the showroom. I'd be lying if I said I won't be following it, but I will want to see it.

How about the interior, is it similar to the rendering?

If final X6 production looks like the rendering, it makes most other BMW lineups so out dated. I wonder if the new BMW 7er will also use the Concept CS front grill style.
